THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Success Engineer to optimize customer utilization and ROI with Cyera. This role offers the chance to contribute to data security innovations and impact global data protection. Expect to travel 25-50% annually to engage directly with clients and enhance their experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform, demonstrating in-depth knowledge.
  • Establish trust as an advisor at all customer levels, from practitioners to executives.
  • Drive adoption through onboarding and training.
  • Understand customer requirements and challenges to design tailored use cases using a consultative approach.
  • Ensure customers realize maximum value and ROI, supporting ongoing engagement and expansion.
  • Identify and resolve obstacles to customer success, collaborating with peers.
  • Advocate for customer feedback to influence product development.
  • Utilize training resources to support customer education.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for seamless operation.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and report on them.
  • Develop joint success plans with customers.
  • Share best practices internally and externally.
  • Mentor team members and participate in hiring processes.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to evaluate progress and identify improvements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
  • 12+ years of project management experience, with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue, customer satisfaction, and retention.
  • Experience collaborating with development teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and cloud environments.
  • 3+ years experience with data and cloud technologies, including databases, networking, IAM, etc.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and security technologies like DLP, DSPM, SIEM, etc.
  • Background in technical customer-facing roles within software companies.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading executive and technical meetings.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex challenges.
