About the Team

We conduct hundreds of live auctions annually worldwide. Conducting a successful multi-million dollar auction requires a dedicated team of energetic professionals in various roles, including equipment inspectors, yard managers, operators, administrative staff, and customer service representatives.

Job Description

Support customers in obtaining registrations and required documents for consignors at our auctions, and provide proper paperwork and car faxes to buyers.

Responsibilities

• Receive consignor inquiries and ensure proper documentation is provided for selling transportation items at our auctions.
• Learn and apply knowledge of our business processes to support customers effectively.
• Ensure a positive experience for external customers doing business with Ritchie Bros.
• Respond promptly and accurately to internal customer requests.
• Resolve issues and track interactions related to customer requests.
• Provide information about upcoming auctions and equipment.
• Proactively report customer concerns and areas for improvement.
• Perform other duties as required, including E-Clerking duties when opportunities arise.
• Collaborate closely with Territory Managers.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling contracts and consignor information.
• Provide proper documentation to buyers for registration of their purchases from RBA auctions.
• Be flexible and willing to perform additional tasks as assigned.

• 1-3 years of experience in high-volume customer contact roles with transactional responsibilities.
• Strong commitment to maintaining strict ethical standards both professionally and personally.
• Experience working in a professional office environment.
