The Customer Service Representative - Inside Sales is responsible for customer service activities, support, and maintaining customer satisfaction through daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. The role requires meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple customer support functions.

What You'll Do
General Customer Service Functions
  • Communicate with customers regarding support matters such as part/PO statuses, due dates, reports, expedites, change or rush orders, and special instructions.
  • Enter sales orders and provide acknowledgements as needed, supporting the CS Data Entry Specialist.
  • Coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer instructions.
  • Manage incoming calls, greet customers, and direct calls appropriately.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain current information in the ERP system to generate reports on open sales orders, shipping, and forecasts.
  • Analyze customer forecasts and purchase orders to ensure stock levels meet demands.
  • Communicate inventory needs or adjustments to management.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production departments for part and PO activities and expedite requests.
Customer Communication
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinate requests for production rush orders, shipping, and other activities to ensure efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma.
  • 1-3 years' experience in customer service/support.
  • Advanced computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including verbal and listening skills.
  • Good typing, spelling, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to move around the facility and work at a computer for extended periods.
