Responsibilities

Responds to complex customer inquiries, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
Influences gross profit through pricing within parameters.
Adjusts non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
Builds relationships to drive repeat business and improves processes.
Maintains inventory for customers and expedites backorders as needed.
Sourcing products across branch, DC, or supplier inventories.
Determines cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
May handle customer returns and be assigned to one customer.
Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced staff.
May be responsible for quality and safety in the branch.
