Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to lead quality and reliability efforts across Fab 9 and other GF fabs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive issue resolution, and communicate progress to customers and leadership.

The role demands a bachelor's (or higher) in engineering, 4–5+ years in related fields, and strong English communication. Prior experience with IATF16949 or VDA6.3 audits is preferred. Salary range reflects US market and location-based considerations.

Qualifications

Education – Engineering or Technology-related bachelor's degree is required.
Experience - minimum of 4-5 years in Process Engineering, Tech Development, Reliability, or Process Integration.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing quality systems and strong communication skills.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Drive cross-functional teams to address and close all quality issues raised by clients and perform in-fab issue resolution.
Communicate status of quality tasks and metrics to management, customers, and internal teams.
Lead quality meetings with GF teams or customers and plan customer audits.
Follow up on internal audits and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.
