Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support contract administration, order fulfillment, and issue resolution within a fast-paced team environment.

You will manage customer inquiries, backorders, invoicing issues, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service levels. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and timely problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in customer service or related role.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service and supports improvements in operational execution to ensure service levels are achieved and exceeded.
• Manages customer account activity including order fulfillment, backorders/substitutes, product change requests, and coordination of customer questions/issues.
• Acts as liaison for invoicing, reimbursement, and other services to resolve problems and disputes for customers.
• Supports process improvement initiatives.
• Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable collaborative customer service.
• Communicates with customers to address needs, questions, and concerns and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Manages cases regarding reporting, backorders, complaints, pricing and product incident reports.
• Supports general sales by analyzing account histories and coordinating internal resources.
• Investigates and reports on anomalies in point of sale systems and website ordering.
