Cardinal Health is seeking a customer service professional to join our Operations team. You will support order fulfillment, handle inquiries, and collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve service levels.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing accounts, handling backorders, coordinating invoicing support, and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience preferred in customer service or operations.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Highly motivated and effective within a team.
• Strong communication skills to build solid relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service and supports improvements in operational execution to meet service levels.
• Manages customer account activity including orders, backorders, substitutions, and inquiries.
• Provides outsourced services by liaising on invoicing, reimbursement and dispute resolution.
• Supports process improvement initiatives.
• Builds relationships with key stakeholders for collaborative service improvement.
• Communicates with customers to address needs, questions and concerns.
• Manages reporting cases, backorders, complaints, pricing, and product incidents.
• Supports sales by analyzing account histories and coordinating internal resources.
• Investigates anomalies in POS systems, website ordering and customer issues.
• Directs customers to appropriate internal resources as needed.
