Hill's Pet Nutrition is seeking a Customer Development Manager (CDM) in Phoenix, AZ. You will manage headquarters customer relationships for Science Diet at PetSmart, developing and executing 6P plans to grow net sales, share, and margin while staying within investment guidelines.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, leveraging data and market insights, and driving strategic plans to optimize Hill’s retail performance across omnichannel channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in a sales role or related experience.
• Experience with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI, and account data).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain processes and plans to analyze the customer’s business channels (clinics, stores, .com).
• Leads and implements customer meetings to influence support of Hill’s Go-to-Market plans.
• Develop and implement annual strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the commercial goals.
• Establish partnerships with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Customize shopper programs with Hill’s shopper marketing and brand strategies.
• Use multiple data sources to create fact-based selling stories to influence stakeholders.
• Collaborate with BDM & Retail Marketing to execute brand strategy within investment guidelines.
• Drive monthly customer planning meetings reviewing actuals vs plan with leadership.
• Identify opportunities for products and programs and develop 6P strategies.
