Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company, Hill's Pet Nutrition division, seeks a Senior Customer Development Manager for Petco in San Diego, CA. You will lead strategic 6P plans to grow net sales, share and margin while managing within spend guidelines.

Headquarters responsibilities include managing Science Diet products at Petco, customizing retail strategies, and guiding cross-functional teams to drive omnichannel growth across clinics, stores, and e-commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years Key Account Management or sales experience.
• Experience with syndicated data sources (Nielsen, IRI).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes to analyze customer channels and trends.
• Lead customer meetings to support Hill’s go-to-market plans.
• Develop annual strategic plans to achieve commercial goals.
• Establish partnerships with cross-functional teams and drive results.
• Customize shopper programs using Hill’s brand strategies to drive sales.
• Use data to create fact-based selling stories for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with BDM & Retail Marketing to execute strategies within guidelines.
• Drive monthly plan reviews and adjust plans as needed.
• Identify opportunities and develop 6P strategies based on insights.
