Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive, through Hill’s Pet Nutrition in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Customer Development Manager to customize and implement vet ecosystem and marketplace strategies to boost conversions and omnichannel recommendations. You will work with veterinary ecosystem partners and B2B/B2B2C channels to grow the nutrition category.

The role focuses on complex veterinary partners and includes managing third-party marketplace relationships, with travel up to 25% and a hybrid work model in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• 8 years of sales experience with large, sophisticated customer relationships or 6+ years with a Masters/MBA.
• Experience with B2B or Marketplace Customers.
• Experience managing partnership agreements or vendor contracts.
• Strong influence and negotiation skills for mutually beneficial solutions.
• Ability to discover common ground and understand customer priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities for 6P recommendations.
• Ability to create influential presentations using slideshow tools (G-Slides, PPT).
• Ability to work across functions and channels to align priorities and optimize resources.

Responsibilities

• Day to day contact with Ecosystem partner and Marketplace teams to ensureHill’s is the Partner of choice.
• Identify opportunities and develop 6P strategies with consumer insights and competitive awareness.
• Develop and maintain processes to analyze the customer’s business channels and trends.
• Lead partnership meetings to influence support of Go-to-Market plans.
• Develop annual strategic plans and initiatives to achieve commercial goals.
• Develop digital activations and data capabilities to drive business.
• Customize programs with Hill’s Shopper Marketing, Data and Analytics, and PVA.
• Establish partnerships with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Build volume, promotion and spend forecasts for VSHD, Marketplaces and/or B2B.
• Collaborate to implement Hill’s retail environment and brand strategy within investment guidelines.
• Drive actions in monthly customer planning meetings.
