Job summary

Tyson Foods in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Customer Development Manager to drive Retail Poultry sales, grow market share, and execute promotional plans with Hy-Vee and other retailers. The role focuses on maximizing volume and profitability while upholding Tyson’s commitment to quality and customer service.

Collaboration with Sales, Strategy, and Supply Chain will be required, along with travel up to six times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 5+ years sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Project management and/or strategic planning experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Retail Poultry products and increase market share through optimized merchandising plans.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with Hy-Vee and other retailers.
• Collaborate with internal partners to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability.
• Coordinate pricing and promotional programs based on customer profitability.
