Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Saint Paul, MN, within the Heart Failure Division, seeks a customer service/operations professional who can process orders, manage inventory, and coordinate with hospitals and clinics to ensure timely delivery of products.

You will address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, track returns, and support billing corrections, while maintaining strong teamwork with sales, field personnel, and vendors and upholding FDA and internal quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong spelling, grammar and punctuation in English.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Strong verbal and written communications with customers and sales reps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
• Regularly scheduled overtime is required.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
• Ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and inventory requests accurately and expeditiously.
• Communicate order status and requirements to customers and internal teams.
• Resolve order discrepancies, credit holds and product availability issues.
• Manage returns, credits and invoicing with guidance from leadership.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries and technical questions.
• Maintains Accounts and Contacts in ERP and CRM databases and updates records.
• Supports continuous improvement of order processing and invoicing transactions.
