Job summary

Farason Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Machine Design Engineer to lead mechanical design and execution of custom automation systems and special machinery. You will develop machine concepts, perform analyses, specify components, create detailed designs, and guide projects from concept through installation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in mechanical field.
• 7+ years designing custom automation equipment or industrial systems.
• SolidWorks proficiency and awareness of GD&T.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design deliverables from concept through commissioning.
• Develop machine concepts and perform engineering analyses.
• Specify components (servos, motors, gearboxes, actuators, pneumatics).
• Create 3D models in SolidWorks and production drawings with GD&T.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, controls engineers, machine builders and vendors.
• Support field installations and commissioning efforts.
