Farason Corporation is seeking a motivated Support Engineer I to join our engineering team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate with an associate degree in a related technical field.

You will gain hands-on exposure to mechanical design, manufacturing, automation, and project execution within a dynamic engineering group. Responsibilities include creating 3D models, producing manufacturing drawings, supporting machine concepts, and assisting with procurement and BOM maintenance.

Formación

• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, CAD Technology, Robotics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and basic tolerancing practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Assist in developing machine concepts and layouts to meet customer requirements.
• Support engineering calculations, cycle time studies, and design documentation.
• Generate and maintain BOMs through the ERP system.
• Research and select commercially available machine components.
• Obtain vendor quotations and assist with component procurement.
• Maintain engineering documentation packages for completed projects.
• Support internal prototype and 3D printing activities.
• Work directly with machine builders and assemblers during machine construction.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during assembly and testing.
• Document engineering changes and update drawings as required.
• Support machine startup, testing, debugging, and validation activities.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage assigned tasks to support overall project schedules.
• Interface with purchasing, manufacturing, and controls engineering personnel.
• Assist programmers and machine builders in understanding machine operation and sequence requirements.
• Utilize company software tools to communicate project status and engineering activities.
• Conduct technical research to support engineering and project requirements.
