Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior cultural resources leader to head complex projects across the western U.S. You will manage large field studies, guide an established team, and drive business development in the southwestern market.

The role requires substantial experience with NRHP/California Register determinations, NHPA consultations, and program management, with opportunities to shape strategy and expand client relationships in a leading environmental consulting firm.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Phase I and II Cultural Resource Surveys in the southwest.
• Knowledge of NHPA Section 106 and 110 consultations.
• Determinations of Eligibility for NRHP and California Register of Historical Resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultural resource investigations for utilities, transportation, renewable energy, and government sectors.
• Mentor and grow a southwest-based cultural resources team.
• Program management and financial management for key client programs.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality technical products through QA/QC and independent review.
• Lead proposal development and build client relationships.
• Represent cultural resources growth in the southwestern market.
