Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior cultural resources leader to guide NEPA analyses, technical studies, and project permitting across the western United States. You will manage large cultural resource programs, lead field studies, and oversee a southwest-based team.

The role emphasizes mentoring, client development, and delivering high-quality resources products. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Phase I/II surveys, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership in a consulting

Qualifications

• MS in cultural resources or archaeology.
• Experience applying AZ/NM/state and federal laws to large projects.
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory/management experience in consulting.
• Permitting experience in AZ/NM or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• NHPA/Section 106/110 consult, MOAs/Programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultural resource investigations for diverse clients and sectors.
• Mentor and grow the SW cultural resources team.
• Manage programs and finances for key client programs.
• Ensure high-quality technical products via QA/QC protocols.
• Lead business development and client relationship building.
• Guide scope, budget, and schedule in proposals.
