Stantec is seeking a senior cultural resources leader to manage investigations, staffing, and client relationships for NEPA analyses, technical studies, and permitting across the western U.S. The role directs large field studies, mentors staff, and leads business development in a growing southwestern practice.

Ideal candidates have extensive Phase I/II survey experience, knowledge of NHPA/NAGPRA considerations, and a track record of successful project leadership, with licensing in AZ/NM

Qualifications

• MS in cultural resources or archaeology, especially southwestern archaeology.
• Expertise in applying and interpreting Arizona, New Mexico and other state and federal laws for large projects.
• Minimum 10 years supervisory, management, and team-oriented experience in consulting.

Responsabilités

• Technical resource lead and principal investigator for complex cultural resource investigations in diverse sectors.
• Mentor and develop a southwestern cultural resources team; grow the practice.
• Lead program and financial management for key client programs and multidisciplinary efforts.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through QA/QC and review protocols.
• Lead business development and maintain client relationships; support proposal development.
