Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a senior cultural resources leader to manage and deliver complex cultural resource studies for private and government clients in the western U.S.

The role leads a cultural resources team, drives business development, and ensures high-quality deliverables across Phase I/II surveys, NEPA analyses, and permitting. Strong regulatory knowledge, and GIS capabilities are essential.

Formación

• Professional writing, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Experience leading and conducting Phase I and II Cultural Resource Surveys in the southwest.
• Proven experience with Determinations of Eligibility for NRHP and California Registers.
• Permitted in AZ and NM on State and Federal Lands, or ability to obtain permitting within 6 months.
• Impact assessment of project alternatives on cultural resources (NHPA Section 106/110).
• Memoranda of Agreement and Programmatic Agreements.
• Data Recovery and Monitoring Plans.
• Historic Property Treatment Plans.
• Ethnographic Research.
• Native American Consultation and NAGPRA.
• Lead for Construction Monitoring Coordination and Field Coordination.
• GIS/GPS knowledge and ability to direct others to map creation.
• Registered Professional Archaeologist preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical and drug screen may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cultural resources investigations for clients across utilities, transportation, renewable energy, and local government.
• Mentor and grow a southwestern cultural resources team; oversee staff and PMs.
• Manage key client programs, budgets, and schedules to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Direct proposal development including scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Represent the cultural resources strategy in the southwestern market externally and internally.
