Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced CSA Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our consultancy team supporting the delivery of a major semiconductor manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will independently prepare CSA cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and manage commercial aspects of ground-up campus projects.

We require minimum 5 years in Quantity Surveying or estimating, strong knowledge of construction contracts, and familiarity with RS Means; RICS accreditation is

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or estimating in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium or large projects.
• Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.
• Familiarity with RS Means.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial management support for CSA estimates and related cost planning.
• Independently evaluate contractor and subcontractor tenders and prepare commercial recommendations.
• Review, validate, and negotiate variations, change orders and compensation events.
• Benchmark performance against other successful commissions and industry standards.
• Assist with change management in fast-track design and construction environments.
• Utilize Bid Analysis Sheets, Change Control Forms and cost estimating software.
