Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our consultancy team delivering a major semiconductor facility. You will independently prepare mechanical cost estimates, take-offs and commercial management of complex installations.

Responsibilities include evaluating tenders, negotiating changes, benchmarking performance, and supporting fast-track delivery with BIM/ cost tools. On-site presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying/estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement routes.
• RICS accreditation is valuable or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial management for mechanical systems on a major project.
• Evaluate contractor/subcontractor tenders and prepare recommendations.
• Review and negotiate variations, change orders and compensation events.
• Prepare cost estimates and perform bid analyses.
