Job summary

JumpFly, a growing independent digital marketing agency in Hoffman Estates, IL, is hiring a Senior CRO and Web Optimization Engineer. This hands-on role focuses on identifying conversion opportunities, implementing CRO strategies, and optimizing WordPress and Shopify sites with GA4/GTM.

You will work closely with clients across industries, manage analytics, tracking, landing pages, and checkout flows, and help build a repeatable optimization service within the agency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in web development, analytics, or optimization.
• Hands-on changes in WordPress and Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript with responsive, production-ready sites.
• GA4, GTM, data-layer, and analytics implementation experience.
• Able to conduct technical site audits and turn findings into priorities.
• Familiar with experimentation platforms, Core Web Vitals, SEO and accessibility.
• Strong technical judgment, troubleshooting, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical website audits covering architecture, CMS constraints, analytics, conversion paths, performance, accessibility, integrations, and implementation risks
• Implement, audit, and troubleshoot GA4, Google Tag Manager, data-layer events, form tracking, conversion tracking, and ecommerce tracking; establish reliable baseline metrics
• Implement approved CRO and website improvements, including landing pages, forms, navigation, checkout flows, responsive layouts, and reusable components
• Estimate effort, identify dependencies and risks, and recommend maintainable implementation approaches
• Present findings clearly and participate in client discovery, scoping, planning, and troubleshooting when technical or CRO expertise is needed
