Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction programs and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within mission-critical environments.

The role requires regular travel to the client office in Birmingham, AL, collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors, and strong cost control and reporting skills. On-site presence may be required through key milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong organizational and management skills and effective presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
