Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction programmes. You will manage stakeholders across architects, engineers, and supply chains, ensuring governance and cost controls are maintained while tracking milestones and risks.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, rapid RFI responses, and collaboration with regional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes for complex facilities projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively with the broader team.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, contractors and regional stakeholders.
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
• Independent review of status reports, drawings, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
• Client management – develop relationships with Clients to maximize opportunities.
• Strategic thinking – advise on approaches to achieve clients’ and business objectives.
• Knowledge management – capture learnings from each project.
• Process improvement – identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
