Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a full-time role. The RN will deliver care using the nursing process, coordinate all patient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Texas RN license, along with CPR and required certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC/ATCN, ENPC).

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Nursing is required.
Current Texas RN license to practice in the State of Texas or compact license.
CPR certification and training program.
ACLS within 6 months of start date.
PALS within 6 months for specified areas.
TNCC or ATCN within 1 year for specified areas.
ENPC within 1 year for Emergency department.
National nursing certification in working area required.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on clinical nursing standards.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and outcomes.
Support organization’s vision and mission and consider patient age and cultural diversity.
Contribute to quality care through performance improvement and positive outcomes.
