Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift from 7p to 7a in the Medical Unit. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include a Texas RN license, CPR, ACLS/NPR training within 6 months for relevant units, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license to practice in Texas.
• Current CPR training required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months for Labor and Delivery and Antepartum areas.
• NPR training within 6 months for Mother/Baby, Well Baby Nursery, Labor and Delivery, and Antepartum.
• National nursing certification in the working area is required.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on clinical standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and outcomes.
• Support the organization’s mission and use age and cultural knowledge in care.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement.
