Job summary
The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift to provide direct clinical patient care per shift, assess and plan care, and supervise staff as delegated. You will support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care, manage resources, and adhere to safety standards, infection control, and emergency protocols.
Required: RN license; 1 year RN experience for PRN; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Must have 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
- Current license or registration to practice and applicable certifications (AHA BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required).
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to assigned patients per shift.
- Assess, plan, implement direct clinical care and coordinate patient care with the team.
- Supervise staff as delegated and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards.
- Administer medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Coordinate care within the medical regime and respond to emergencies per hospital codes.
