Qualifications

• Pharmacist education from an accredited college; strong communication skills; computer proficiency with common office suites.
• Experience and residency training are preferred as listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Adverse drug reaction and medication variance reporting program: maintains and improves reporting and data analysis.
• Committee participation: attends meetings, prepares minutes and monographs.
• Drug information specialist: responds to drug information needs and strategizes for shortages.
• Physician relationships: builds rapport to guide prescribing.
• Resident training: mentors residents and ensures ASHP compliance.
• Rounds with physicians; supports cost-effective treatment decisions.
• Other duties as assigned; adherence to organizational standards.
