Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including medication dispensing and therapy monitoring under regulatory guidelines.

The role supports integrated clinical services and safe drug distribution in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate holds an APCE-accredited PharmD/BS in Pharmacy with NJ licensure and 1–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience, plus familiarity with USP 795, 797, and 800 and EPIC systems.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in NJ.
• APCE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS) required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and monitor medications in accordance with all regulations and standards.
• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and clinical services.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel to support safe and effective medication therapy.

The Pharmacist is responsible for the dispensing and monitoring of medication therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an APCE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a BS degree in Pharmacy.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of principles of USP 795, 797, and 800.
• EPIC experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Licensed Registered Pharmacist.
