Responsibilities include medication prep, dispensing, monitoring, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and the pharmacy team to optimize therapy and safety.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited PharmD degree is required.
• Completion of a PGY1 residency is required.
• PGY2 in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
• Board Certification in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for New Jersey Pharmacist license.
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy practice and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care across hospital settings and patient ages.
• Deliver clinical pharmacy services in critical care and emergency medicine.
• Dispense, monitor, and optimize medications and IV admixtures.
• Apply independent clinical judgment to medication therapy and safety.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
• Educate staff, residents, and students; support quality improvement.
• Assist with medication utilization programs and cost containment.
• Contribute to safety reporting and adherence to safety goals.
