Ladders is seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter to join a leader in the Healthcare space in a remote role. You will evaluate complex credit opportunities and support disciplined lending decisions across a healthcare-focused portfolio, partnering with internal stakeholders and external third parties to assess risk and structure transactions.

You will present recommendations, ensure credit actions align with policies and regulations, and maintain a strong credit process.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of underwriting and structuring commercial and syndicated loan transactions.
• 7+ years of analyzing business financial statements for loans.
• Experience making credit decisions on transactions exceeding $100 million.
• Familiarity with AI tools to improve analysis and decision-making.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

In this remote role, you will play a key part in evaluating complex credit opportunities and supporting disciplined lending decisions across a healthcare-focused portfolio. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external third parties to assess risk, structure transactions, and help maintain a strong quality credit process. The role also calls for sound judgment in presenting recommendations and ensuring credit actions align with policies, regulations, and portfolio objectives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $112,700 – $193,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures that support a high-quality credit portfolio
