Job summary

TD Bank is sourcing a CSB Credit Specialist II to ensure quality and compliance within an assigned portfolio, performing credit underwriting and administration, and aligning with TD Bank Group's risk appetite. The role collaborates with the Relationship Manager and Credit Officer to establish borrower and facility risk ratings.

The position requires deep credit analysis, risk mitigation, and the ability to structure highly complex credits while monitoring performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 year Undergraduate degree; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years' experience in related field.
• Excellent credit underwriting and administration skills; subject matter expert in complex credit understanding.
• Superior ability to identify and mitigate risk.
• Ability to provide value-add structuring alternatives for highly complex credits.
• Strong written and excellent verbal communication skills with solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Performs in depth credit analysis for highly complex portfolios.
• Partners with Relationship Manager on potential structure proposals in line with risk appetite.
• Prepares credit applications for new and existing borrowers including renewals and annual reviews.
• Manages timely approval, documentation, negotiation, and closing of transactions.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and TD Bank policies.
