Job summary

CoBank is seeking a senior credit professional to analyze financial condition, prepare credit reports, and lead the loan origination process from application to servicing. The role involves evaluating borrower risk, advising on credit structures, and ensuring profitability and credit quality goals are met.

You will prepare analyses, supervise credit activities, and contribute to staff training while supporting cross-functional lending teams across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8 years of credit experience in banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Reviews audits, interim statements, projections and other financial data to analyze trends.
• Identifies borrower strengths/weaknesses and evaluates risks to the bank.
• Prepares and oversees credit analyses and investigations for credit decisions.
• Coaches staff on negotiation strategies and financing approaches.
• Monitors credit quality and compliance with covenants.
• Develops models and automated tools for credit analysis and presentations.
