S&T Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Review professional to independently monitor credit quality and assess the effectiveness of credit risk management across commercial and consumer lending. The role supports the directorate with objective oversight of lending activities at multiple PA locations.

You will perform reviews of credits to ensure compliance with policies, evaluate risk ratings and loan quality, and provide recommendations to strengthen credit controls and portfolio

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent with preferred major in Accounting and formal credit training.
• Loan Review Certification or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides independent commercial/consumer analysis of credit quality and control processes.
• Performs reviews of credits/borrowers to ensure compliance with policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Evaluates quality of credits and assigned risk ratings indicating borrower’s financial strength and repayment probability.
• Reviews bank’s commercial loans for policy/standard compliance; may review retail and other exposures.
• Performs mortgage quality control and portfolio reviews against investor/underwriting guidelines.
• Provides recommendations to Credit Risk Review Manager to strengthen oversight and measurement of effectiveness.
• May assist in other credit reviews and bank projects requiring credit expertise.
• Maintains good working relationships with bank staff and works as a team to support the organization.
