Job summary

Allianz Trade in North America seeks a Credit Analyst and SRM expert to manage a profitable buyer portfolio and perform rigorous credit analysis. You will gather information via visits and interviews, monitor high-risk accounts, and grant informed recommendations within authority boundaries.

You will create industry outlooks, support with underwriting requirements, and drive risk-monitoring plans while communicating with sales and underwriting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or finance.
• 4-7 years’ experience in financial management in banking, credit insurance brokerage or a credit insurance environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.
• Computer literate with MS Word/Excel.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Credit knowledge with high-volume risk analysis and underwriting.
• Market knowledge of the local economy and relevant sectors.
• Experience in buyer assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a profitable portfolio of business and perform financial and credit analysis.
• Conduct buyer visits or telephone interviews to obtain critical information.
• Monitor high-risk buyers and solicit proprietary information for the EHNA database.
• Provide consistent buyer grading and advise when outside authority.
• Coordinate with Sales Agents and Underwriters on underwriting needs.
• Create industry sector outlooks to identify market trends.
• Report to the head of SRU and execute risk monitoring plans.
• Identify deteriorating risk early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Communicate risk strategies to buyers and policyholders.
