Job summary

Allianz Trade in North America is seeking a finance and credit professional to manage a profitable buyer portfolio, conduct in-depth credit analysis, and provide actionable insights to Regional leadership. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Business or Finance (MBA preferred) and 3–5 years in banking, credit insurance brokerage, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a profitable portfolio within approved parameters.

  • Monitor high risk buyers using EHNA and other data; advise on grading.
  • Perform financial and credit analysis to determine credit ratings.
  • Communicate underwriting requirements to Sales Agents and Underwriters.
  • Create industry outlooks from public and proprietary data to identify market trends.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a profitable portfolio of business within the parameters agreed upon with the Regional Director of Information & Grading, utilizing sound credit analysis techniques.
  • Conduct buyer visits or telephone interviews to obtain critical information for the monitoring of the buyer portfolio.
  • Monitor high risk buyers and solicit proprietary information for EHNA database by establishing a rapport and maintaining contact with Finance Directors, Treasurers, through visits and telephone and written correspondence. Utilizing all information available arrive at consistent grading of buyers within authority and make detailed recommendations to Supervisor and/or Regional Director when outside authority.
  • Perform financial and credit analysis to determine the appropriate credit rating of company being analyzed
  • Communicates with Sales Agents and Commercial Underwriters and/or customers as to underwriting requirements regarding industry outlooks and target markets.
  • Responsible for the creation of industry sector outlooks (from both public and proprietary information) to determine underlying market trends
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in financial management experience in banking, credit insurance brokerage or a credit insurance environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, with an understanding of financial software and spreadsheet packages
Total Compensation Range

$90,000-$115,000
