Job summary

Workers Credit Union is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to support credit risk management through portfolio analysis, reporting, and policy guidance. The role requires complex data interpretation, risk assessment, and collaboration with lending, finance, and risk teams.

You will contribute to credit risk reviews, regulatory support, and governance, while operating in a hybrid environment at our Littleton, MA headquarters. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of related experience within a financial institution, preferably involving lending, credit analysis, loan review, credit risk management, or related lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently analyze and interpret complex financial and credit data.
• Advanced knowledge of lending, credit risk management, loan portfolio analysis, and risk-rating concepts.
• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to lending and credit risk.
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage complex assignments and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing analysis and monitoring of loan portfolios to identify trends, concentrations, emerging risks, and changes in portfolio performance.
• Monitor credit quality indicators including delinquencies, charge-offs, risk ratings, policy exceptions, collateral trends, and other metrics.
• Prepare and analyze recurring credit risk reports for Management, Risk Oversight Committee, Board, and stakeholders.
• Perform credit migration analysis, stress testing, benchmarking, and ad hoc credit risk analysis as requested.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to Management regarding portfolio trends and emerging risks.
• Monitor and support administration of the credit risk rating framework.
