Qualifications

• Knowledge of consumer and/or small business credit card products and risk dynamics.
• Proficiency in statistical techniques, modeling, and quantitative analysis.
• Knowledge of loss forecasting methods including vintage analysis, roll-rate, and time series.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and their application to credit risk.
• Ability to work independently with data to identify complex business trends and propose solutions.
• Strong executive communication and data storytelling skills.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel; BI tools for visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate portfolio insights to risk committees and leadership with clear narratives.
• Create early warning indicator reports for deteriorating credit quality.
• Analyze customer acquisition channels to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
• Evaluate delinquency, charge-off, and utilization metrics of the portfolio.
• Independently explore large datasets and present findings to stakeholders.
• Pilot emerging tools and automation to enhance analytics workflows.
• Mentor junior team members and translate analytics to business actions.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements in financial risk management.
• Develop and maintain credit loss forecasting models focusing on vintage analysis.
