Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in Credit management or Credit Risk Forecasting or similar analytical role.
• Ability to present recommendations and influence senior management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel; strong data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Communicate portfolio insights to risk committees and senior leadership.
• Create early warning indicator reports for deteriorating credit quality.
• Analyze customer acquisition channels to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
• Analyze portfolio performance metrics including delinquency and charge-off.
• Independently explore large datasets and present findings to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and pilot AI tools to enhance risk analytics.
• Drive automation of reporting, data prep, and model execution workflows.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into risk frameworks.
• Stay current with AI/ML advances applied to financial services.
• Develop and enhance credit loss forecasting models (vintage, roll-rate).
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
