Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst Intern to join our credit analytics teams in Omaha. You will perform fundamental credit analysis tasks, prepare credit memos, and support loan lifecycle processes while learning from experienced professionals.

This onsite internship offers educational workshops, small projects, and exposure to Operations, Relationship Management, and Loan Documentation, with opportunities to build cross-functional relationships and grow

Qualifications

• Current university student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Unrestricted work authorization and not requiring future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental credit analysis tasks.
• Assist in preparation of loan presentation packets (credit memos) for new credit requests, renewals, and annual reviews.
• Spread and analyze financial information for borrowers, related entities, and guarantors.
• Aid in ongoing monitoring of loan covenants to ensure compliance.
• Completion of a department-specific project.
