Job summary

Keesler Federal Credit Union at Biloxi, MS seeks a Credit Reporting & Disputes Manager to lead the credit reporting program, ensure compliance, and oversee dispute resolution. The role partners with bureaus, regulators, and vendors to strengthen controls and data integrity.

The position emphasizes supervisory responsibilities, regulatory compliance across FCRA and CFPB guidance, and ongoing process improvements in reporting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of credit reporting, loan servicing, or related financial institution functions.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Metro 2 reporting standards.
• Experience with e-OSCAR dispute processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee credit reporting activities to ensure timely, accurate furnishing of consumer information to bureaus.
• Manage consumer dispute investigations via members, agencies, regulators, and e-OSCAR with timely resolution.
• Serve as liaison with credit bureaus, regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and vendors.
• Establish and maintain QA processes, data integrity reviews, and exception reporting.
• Analyze reporting trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Act as escalation point for complex reporting issues and regulatory concerns.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure adherence to FCRA, FACTA, CFPB guidance.
• Develop procedures and training materials supporting reporting activities.
