Job summary

Sallie Mae is seeking a Manager, Credit Bureau Reporting and Disputes in Delaware. You will lead a team to analyze credit bureau disputes, ensure FCRA compliance, and oversee data furnishing and reporting for all major bureaus using the e-OSCAR platform.

You will drive process improvements, collaborate with legal and risk partners, and implement regulatory changes across systems like FDR, while mentoring staff and ensuring accuracy of furnished data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in credit bureau reporting, disputes, or related role
• CDIA certification in Metro2 and/or FCRA preferred
• Strong knowledge of Metro2 language and regulatory requirements (FCRA)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of credit reporting and dispute resolution specialists
• Investigate disputes by analyzing system of record and supporting docs
• Ensure Direct Disputes and ACDVs are processed accurately and compliantly
• Oversee e-OSCAR access and usage, act as system administrator
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and bureaus on data reporting and disputes
