Job summary

Monzo is seeking a technical and strategic leader to head its Credit Platform, guiding the shared infrastructure that powers lending decisions across UK and expanding global markets.

You will steer the evolution of credit valuation infrastructure, including NPv modelling, and build a scalable foundation for Product Credit teams. You’ll hire and mentor five Credit Analysts, fostering technical excellence and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in unsecured lending.
• Strong analytical and data capabilities with SQL, Python and Looker.
• Experience building lending infrastructure and NPv modelling frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for the Credit Platform across UK and new markets.
• Lead evolution of the Credit Valuation Infrastructure and NPV modelling framework.
• Hire, coach and develop a high-performing team of Credit Analysts.
• Collaborate with Credit, Engineering, Product, ML, Data and Risk teams to accelerate deployment of platform capabilities.
• Represent the Credit Platform in senior leadership discussions to shape the future of lending.
