Johnstone Supply The Balsan Group is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead credit and collections for our wholesale HVAC distribution business. This leadership role collaborates with Branch Managers, Sales, Customers, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to protect financial position while supporting sales growth.

You will evaluate customers, monitor exposure, and lead collections while partnering with Sales and Branch Management to balance sales opportunities with responsible credit

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or financial management; distribution or wholesale experience preferred.
• Experience working with contractor, commercial, or trade customers is a plus.
• Strong financial analysis, negotiation, collections, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Sales and Operations while confidently managing financial risk.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate customers to establish credit limits and terms.
• Monitor exposure, payment history, AR aging, and financial performance.
• Lead collection efforts on past-due and high-risk accounts.
• Partner with Sales and Branch Management to balance sales opportunities with credit decisions.
• Manage credit insurance claims, agencies, and recovery efforts.
• Track DSO, cash flow, bad debt, and report trends to leadership.
• Oversee lien waivers and related documentation for construction accounts.
• Improve credit, collections, cash application, and onboarding processes.
• Lead and develop teams responsible for Credit & Collections, Cash Application, Banking Reconciliations, and Credit Card Processing.
