The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in credit analysis, a strong grasp of credit risk, and the ability to mentor junior analysts while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Credit Analyst or similar financial analysis role.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk, and underwriting.
• Experience reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and trade references.
• Background in commercial collections and managing customer accounts.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to guide and support junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial data and creditworthiness to support credit decisions and manage risk.
• Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on past-due balances.
• Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances, billing questions, and account discrepancies.
• Handle inbound collection and customer service inquiries.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of customer communications and collection activity.
• Identify delinquent accounts and recommend appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
• Monitor lien rights, report accounts with upcoming lien expiration dates, and process lien releases as needed.
• Work closely with internal departments, customers, and vendors to maintain positive business relationships.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced Credit Analysts.
