Job summary

Citizens Financial is seeking a Credit Card Senior Business Systems Analyst to independently lead the development, documentation, and presentation of functional specifications for major systems and initiatives.

You will partner with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications and support data analysis, process mapping, and successful implementation across business lines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years supporting Credit Card technology environments; 5+ years in financial services operations.
• Experience using data and analytics to identify performance trends and improvements.
• Strong collaboration and relationship management across organizational levels.
• Familiar with project management and Agile practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for leadership, partners, and vendors.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead system requirements gathering and analysis, identifying dependencies, conflicts, risks, and gaps.
• Oversee system design and documentation, including functional specs, user stories, and design artifacts.
• Support system implementation activities, including data migration, UAT, training, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support.
• Engage with business and tech stakeholders to translate requirements into business terms and provide reporting and insights.
• Document and improve business processes through process mapping and knowledge repositories.
• Prepare complex reporting and analysis for change governance and operational reviews.
• Lead discussions to improve performance through technology, automation, and data-driven solutions.
