Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence on industry and company performance; may lead diligence calls.
• Perform thorough financial analysis and identify disparities, risks, and mitigants.
• Prepare financial modeling inputs with little guidance and understand model mechanics.
• Analyze options considering collateral and borrower valuation.
• Write and prepare credit approval documents and participate in deal reviews.
• Coordinate and complete closing process requirements.
• Shadow more senior underwriters on reviewing and negotiating documents.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders with urgency.
• Prepare term sheets and fee letters with guidance; understand credit documents.
• Own a portfolio of existing customers with minimal guidance.
• Complete annual reviews and material/non-material modifications on time.
• Monitor upgrades or downgrades to risk ratings and ensure policy compliance.
