Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA seeks an Analyst to join the FIG Underwriting and Portfolio Management team. You will support underwriters and portfolio managers, analyze borrower performance, prepare risk ratings and loan modification materials, and maintain client relationships.

You will monitor compliance with loan terms, review financial data, and help with onboarding and collateral approval to enable borrowing requests, while upholding bank policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or financial modeling.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and collateral analysis.
• Prepare reporting on performance trends and key indicators.
• Monitor Borrower compliance with loan terms and documentation.
• Support Underwriters and Portfolio Managers with risk identification and problem resolution.
• Write and prepare loan modification documents with supervision.
• Shadow senior underwriters on reviewing legal documentation.
