Job summary

U.S. Bank in Los Angeles seeks a Credit Analyst to approve or recommend credit extensions on loans, evaluating data to maximize credit quality and minimize risk. You will gather and interpret credit information and use software to support decisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years' experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. On-site work is expected at least three days per week, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong credit analysis and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis.
• Effective technical report writing and communication skills.
• Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

• Approve or deny extensions of credit for loans.
• Conduct complete credit analyses for customers.
• Review accounts and portfolios to identify risk and determine actions.
