Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant financial field with five years of experience as a Credit Analyst or Financial Analyst.
• Five years of experience must include financial modeling and credit analysis.
• Understanding of accounting, financial reporting standards, and corporate budgeting.
• Developing financial models and forecasts to assess credit quality of companies.
• Writing analytical reports to convey credit opinion to market participants.
• Industry knowledge of capital markets and the broader financial services.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary analyst for complex entities and make rating recommendations.
• Serve as a voting member of rating committees.
• Develop forecasts and recommend ratings consistent with S&P criteria.
• Communicate S&P methodology to clients and train team members.
• Identify market trends and contribute to thought leadership.
• Produce analytical reports supporting rating decisions.
