Job summary

Bridgewater Bank is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to support its Commercial & Industrial lending team. The role involves evaluating financial conditions of borrowers, preparing credit presentations, and collaborating with bankers to structure and mitigate credit risks in complex credit relationships.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/business and 10+ years of credit underwriting or financial analysis experience, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or related field.
• 10+ years of credit underwriting or financial analysis experience in complex C&I credit relationships.
• Superior analytical/reasoning skills.
• Experience with the nCino commercial banking platform is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and analyze loan requests, financial information, third-party reports, and other due diligence for larger, complex transactions.
• Prepare credit presentations including spreading and analyzing business financial statements, industry trends, collateral and guarantor analysis.
• Collaborate with bankers to identify credit risks, mitigants, and loan structure considerations.
• Participate in the approval process by presenting loan requests to Loan Committee and Credit Risk Management Committee.
• Perform covenant testing and annual reviews for existing lending relationships and process Borrowing Base Certificates as required.
• Assist credit officers and managers with projects to monitor and improve underwriting processes.
